Metrics and Attributes

Metrics and attributes are the building blocks of your reports. They are the data points that you can use to analyze your sales data.

Metrics are the quatitative data points that you can use to measure your sales performance. For example, "Units Sold" is a metric. Attributes are the qualitative data points that you can use to segment your sales data. For example, "Author" is an attribute.

This section will go through all the metrics and attributes that you can use in Book Report.

tip

These next two sections serve as reference material more than easy reading. If you're just getting started with Book Report, it probably makes more sense to just skim them rather than trying to grasp every detail.
